The Monastery

After it was completely renovated in 2016, the monastery became a catholic spiritual centre which apart from its spiritual programs also offers accommodation to priests who bring their pilgrims for spiritual exercises, renewals, seminars…

The monastery is equipped with antique furniture, a modern kitchen which is connected to a garden from which fresh produce is gathered for preparing meals, as well as two dining halls (a larger one for 60 people, and a smaller one for 40). The monastery regularly offers three meals a day.

At the entrance to the monastery is a reception area with a bar for refreshments where guests and pilgrims are welcomed.

The monastery has a large lecture hall where pilgrims take part in their programs with a view of the sea, the monastery also has an entrance which leads to the cloister, as well as the Chapel of St. Joseph where pilgrims can stay all night in quiet Eucharistic adoration.

The monastery has 60 beds available in single, double or triple rooms. The rooms are spacious and airy and have a view of the sea. Each room has its own bathroom equipped with towels, soap, toilet paper… Each room has air conditioning and WIFI access. The rooms are located on the ground floor, the first floor, and the second floor. The floors are accessible by stairs and by an elevator.

A conference room is located on the first floor, which is suitable for small groups and lectures and is furnished with 18 th -century furniture and a piano.

For those who wish to spend time in silence and meditation, the Chapel of St. Francis is located on the second floor in complete silence.
