The monastery is equipped with antique furniture, a modern kitchen which is connected to
a garden from which fresh produce is gathered for preparing meals, as well as two dining
halls (a larger one for 60 people, and a smaller one for 40). The monastery regularly offers
three meals a day.
In the Church of Our Lady of Mercy, each year on August 2 nd , pilgrims can receive the Pardon of Assisi. The restoration of the derelict walls and destroyed altars are still in process.
In the chapel of St. Joseph, pilgrims can stay all night in quiet Eucharistic adoration.
It is imperceptible to the eye, and unimaginable to the mind that such a small island could house a garden with such fruitful earth. This garden stretches out behind the monastery and holds an orchard with different fruits, as well as vegetables and grapevines. On the edges of the garden, flowers have been planted along the stone pathways to create a special atmosphere.
